S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mod Family Tree

This chart is obviously not all the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods available, but a broad overview of many relevant ones and how they're connected. It's a good way to discover new, interesting projects to play in the Zone. The focus being on clear, easy visualization, there will be some oversimplifications and slight inaccuracies, but feel free to contact me (in the About section) if you spot any blatant mistakes.

Shadow of Chernobyl
The game that started it all. A local amnesiac addicted to cheap vodka goes on a quest to kill a mysterious man called Strelok. A seemingly perfectly reasonable life goal for someone living in a radioactive dumpster.
Clear Sky
The often underappreciated sequel (but a prequel story-wise). You're stuck in a swamp working for the worst science club in the world. You watch factions wage pointless wars on each other, and the Zone keeps killing everyone equally.
Call of Pripyat
The least janky and better polished game of the trilogy. You play a military officer sent undercover as a Stalker to investigate why the Zone is bullying the Ukrainian Air Force. You end up the errand boy for every drunk in the area.
